Well, we are 3-0 which is great. Just wondering if anybody else felt like we were running out the clock midway through the 3rd quarter? We kept Houston in the game the entire second half with a mediocre at best offensive scheme. We have a great defense, but we don't need to play that game. If it was 31-12 (before the INT of course), I could see running out the clock. But it was 24-12 just 2 tds from loosing the game. I'm not pissed off or anything, just bringing it up.

Your'e right! This is typical Fisher conservative football. I don't agree with it because it strains our Defense and kinda sends the message that you don't have faith in the Offense to execute and take care of the ball. I hope after a couple of more games that Fisher will have enough confidence in the Offense to turn them loose for the whole game. Dilfer on ESPN says this is the toughest Defense he has ever seen. Remember, he played for the Ravens. However we can't keep them on the field with conservatve Runs from our offense after we get a couple of scores and expect them to stay healthy. HOWEVER, when your'e winning, the bumps and bruises don't seem to hurt near as bad and the adrenaline takes over. Collins has the keys to the car now so come on Coach and let him burn some rubber!

It will be interesting to see what our defense does against a high powered offense. I know it's a lot of fun watching the Titans play again, knowing you have a championship defense, and an offense that can score points. We should be able to shut down the Vikings. I was a little concerned with Slaton's success, knowing that Peterson is coming up. The Vikings remind me of the Titans when VY is at the helm.

Slanton had a good day because we were 80% focused on the passing game. We gave a little to meet our overall goal.

Good point BMax, but now the Titans D is going to have to do a little of both. Frerotte may not be an elite QB, but he still has weapons like Bernard Berrian to throw to. This will be a good test for Cortland Finnegan & Mike Griffin as well as Big Al, Freak & KVB.

I would much rather see Jackson at the helm. Our defense thrives on making inexperienced QBs make quick decisions.
