The Tennessee Titans and the Baltimore Ravens face off Sunday to renew a historic rivalry. The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a loss on Monday Night Football against a team that they should have beaten. The Titans should expect a group of upset Ravens and they must be prepared for anything. This Baltimore Ravens defense is fierce. They make their living attacking opposing quarterbacks and forcing turnovers. The Titans offensive line must protect Kerry Collins and Collins must get rid of the football quick.

I don't know about the "team they should have beaten". Pittsburgh is a good team. Baltiimore is a great defense. Note the difference. It was a good game, and I expect I good game this week as well, but I think the Titans are the better all around team. I don't want to get too bold with predictions, because anything can happen in the NFL, but I'll take the Titans.

I agree with you '93, I believe the Titans are better all around. Our Offense looks alot better than Baltimores and I believe our front 4 on Defense will be on the quarterback all afternoon. Pittsburg kept pressure on them rushing their front 4 and ours is better. Magahee is banged up as well. The Ravens haven't allowed over 100 yds rushing by an opponent in the last 20 games but Heimerdinger knows this and I think he'll have the Offense ready for a team coming off a short week and still trying to find themselves with a new coach. I know it won't be a walk in the park and there will be some major hits because of the rivalry but I think we'll be going into the bye-week 5-0......GO TITANS!

Good points to all. This is where our offense is going to have to execute. I think we are going to have to be aggressive. Baltimore hasn't given up much yardage period. Special teams, and turnovers will be huge for both sides. It will be interesting to see how Fisher and Dinger decided to go with the offense. It seems that Fisher's approach in these cases has been to take what the defense will give you and not push it. Maybe that was the case because of VY. We will have to score in the redzone, and take full advantage of turnovers.

Good points, another thing I've found interesting: I was readin on Titansonline, the Ravens players comments on the Titans and when talking about the run game thay all seem to be talking about the difference in LenDale and CJ being in the game is that White is gonna bruise you up the middle and CJ wants to take it on the sweeps and get on the edge because of his speed. I think we who watch the Ttians know better than this, CJ is not just a get it on the edge kind of back. If they are focused on strictly guarding the edges when he is in Sunday, look for him to break a big one up the gut, if he gets a seam, HE"S GONE!

That's a helluva good analogy 93! They're in for a big surprise if that's all they expect from CJ. And let's face it, other than Lewis & Reed, most of their lineup defensively is young & unseasoned, which should help Kevin Mawae & the O-Line if they bring their A game tomorrow.
