I don't think the Titans are even considering using their first round pick on a wide out. Fisher will always be thinking defense. I dont want to say that their is too much depth at the position but the overall difference in the players that are slotted to go in the first and players that will still be on the board in the second and third rounds isnt that much. Manningham will drop to the third round now but the Titans won't sniff at him. It is not the fact that he smoked the lettuce, the problem is that he lied about it. The immaturity shown by the lie takes him off of our board. The need for a return specialist was answered with the signing of Chris Carr and a rookie receiver is not likely to have an effect on this years team. I think the Titans have been waiting patiently for a few years now for a big name free agent wide out who doens't rock the boat and it just hasn't happened yet.
They will be looking at corner and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up taking Jerod Mayo in the first round. He is very likely to be the best available player left by the time pick #24 rolls around. He can play inside or outside and like I said before, Fisher will always be thinking defense. By drafting Michael Griffin, they showed they are not scared to take the best player and will not reach to fill a need.
