These are the Titans everyone in the media expected

Going into the 2007 season, everyone was expecting the Titans to suck in pretty much every way. Our offseason was terrible and our draft stunk even worse (according to the media anyway). Once the season started everyone was pleasantly surprised to see the Titans weren't that bad...in fact they started off pretty good.
Now, the Titans have started to play like the team everyone in the media expected. They can't play defense, VY is having a sophomore slump, and we can't even get the running game going.
Another post in this forum says Will the real Titans please stand up? This got me thinking...which team is the "real" Titans?
The 6-2 team that nearly beat the Colts and the team that surged to an 8-8 record last year to nearly make the postseason? OR...are they the Titans that have lost 3 straight and given up 35 points to the Bengals?
